Creative Economy

Creative and artistic solutions are central to building more equitable economies that provide opportunity for all people to reach their individual potential. The Space hosts a number of events to support and highlight the creative economy. This includes artisan and farmers markets, live music, gallery openings, and more.

Gallery at The Space

The Space On Main features several walls of gallery space. Artists are invited to apply to display their artwork. We book several months out. Please get in touch with any questions!

Saturday, December 9th 11am-2pm @ The Space On Main, 174 Main Street, Bradford, VT. The Space is only as valuable as the opportunities that it provides to the surrounding community. In an effort to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses, The Space On Main has hosted a variety of artisan and farmers markets.

The Space On Main will be continuing its annual Holiday Market On Main. This market aims to support for-profit and nonprofit vendors who make/grow/produce their own products. The event will be free and open to the public. [Our vendor application is closed as the market is full.]

This market features 100% of vendors that match one or more of the following ownership highlights: woman-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, BIPOC-owned, youth/student-owned, and/or veteran-owned. One-third of the vendors have graduated or are currently enrolled in our RISE 10-week business planning course, powered by CO.STARTERS. The following vendors will be joining us!

Red Coop Crafts
Bradford, VT
There’s nothing better than surprising someone with a custom, handmade gift that fits them perfectly. A gift that fits their style, celebrates a special moment, or just shows how much someone cares for them. That’s why I started Red Coop Crafts. From my 1900 New England farmhouse to my southern charm, I infuse a little bit of my style in every sign and gift I create. I offer a wide range of gifts from hand engraved signs to personalized t-shirts and serving trays. I specialize in hand engraving, woodworking, and customizing each item I make. Doing everything by hand allows me to pay tribute to the crafts men and women that came before me.
